THE MEDIA MOMENT
Highsnobiety made their way to the east coast — working with Kwame Kadahndi @kwam_ to capture Philadelphia’s stop. They walked the festival, chopped it up with both artists, kept the voting urgency alive across their channels, and helped tell the Philly chapter of Carrera’s international road trip.
THE DAY AT MANAYUNK ARTS FESTIVAL
Rain fell throughout the day, but the crowds never let up. Umbrellas filled the streets, artists kept creating, and festivalgoers continued to show up proving that not even the weather could wash out the spirit of Manayunk.
THE SETTING
The Manayunk Arts Festival - an iconic annual outdoor art event held in the Manayunk neighborhood of Philadelphia along historic Main Street. 37th anniversary, attracting tens of thousands of visitors each year to browse, buy, and celebrate art in a vibrant street festival atmosphere the corvette emersed in the center of the arts.

Philly local on one side and Brooklyn’s most iconic on the other. Bold iconic colors and symbols and a Philly skyline in a pair of Carreras from Alloyius. Jenna showed up with her detailed stained-glass effect behind a bold Carrera frame style.
THE WEATHER
The rainstorm did little to keep the crowds away. Through the drizzle, festivalgoers showed up in force to watch a creative showdown between a Brooklyn-based artist and a Philly local. The weather may have been relentless, but so was the energy.
THE ENERGY
Real buzz around the booth, the emcee keeping the festival tight, and the kind of foot traffic that couldn’t be affected by rain. Try-ons and voting all afternoon.
