Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

The organization of this specific online only Sweepstake is handled exclusively by Safilo USA at 300 Lighting Way, Secaucus, NJ 07094 (the “Sponsor”) which reserves the right to rule on any issues pertaining the Official Rules.

ELIGIBILITY:

The Carrera Sweepstake (the “Sweepstake”) is open only to individuals who meet the following criteria at the time and date of entry and through award of the prizes: (a) are twenty-one (21) years of age (or age majority in their jurisdiction of residence, if over 21 or older, and (b) are a citizen or legal resident of and physically residing in one (1) of the fifty (50) United or the District of Columbia (excluding residents in Hawaii and Alaska). This Sweepstake is void in any foreign-based United States military installations and wherever else restricted or prohibited by law.

Employees, officers and representatives of the Sponsor, the travel agency, and their respective affiliated companies are not eligible. 

This Sweepstake is not open/available to anyone outside of the United States.

Illegible and incomplete entries will be voided. Entries submitted by means of software-generated or other automated processes will be disregarded.

(Anyone who attempts to participate in this Sweepstake whether they satisfy the above eligibility requirements and/or enters successfully is referred to in these Official Rules as an “Entrant”).

 

CARRERA SWEEPSTAKES INFORMATION

If the Entrant meets the eligibility criteria set above, to enter online, Entrants may enter the Sweepstake by visiting the Carrera website at www.carreraworld.com  and by completing the entry form between March 11^th 2022  12:00 am Eastern Time, through March 18^th 2022 12:00pm Eastern Time only (the “ Sweepstake Period”). You are then eligible to be entered into the Sweepstake to win two (2) tickets to the MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin Texas. Flight and Hotel will also be provided by the Sponsor through a travel agency for only the Prizewinner. The Sponsor’s database computer is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstake.

 

All required contact information requested on the Sweepstake entry form, including, but not limited to, Entrant’s first name, last name, email address, mailing address, and phone number (“Personal Information”).

 

Limit one (1) entry into the Sweepstake per person. Entries received before and/or after the Sweepstake Period will be voided.

 

PRIZE WINNER:

 

There will be one (1) winner that will be chosen at random (“Prizewinner”). The potential winner will be selected through a random drawing on or about March 18^th at 2:00pm Eastern Time, from among all eligible entries received in accordance with these Official Rules.  The Prizewinner will be notified via email and phone and announced on our Instagram story. The winner has 48 hours to confirm. If the Prizewinner fails to reply, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner. If a Prizewinner is found ineligible or fails to comply to the Official Rules or any additional requests, that Entrant’s claim to a prize is forfeited and an alternative qualifying and eligible Entrants may be contacted at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

 

The Sponsor has sole discretion over interpretation of the Official Rules, administration of the Sweepstake, and selection of the Prizewinner.

 

The Prizewinner will be required to formally accept and complete a waiver/prize acceptance agreement (“Agreement”) and return the Agreement within the time period specified at notification before being eligible to receive the prize.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

By participating in the Sweepstake, Entrants hereby agree to be bound by the Official Rules, privacy policy and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matter relating to the Sweepstake. Although not anticipated, Sweepstake rules and the prize may be changed or altered at any point by the Sponsor.

 

Fights and Hotels are subject to the applicable conditions set forth from the Hotel and Airline. The Sponsor is not responsible for any cancellations, delays and/or any damages arising from the services provided by the Hotel and Airline.

 

Entrant’s Personal Information will be utilized by Sponsor for fulfillment of Sweepstakes Prizes and to comply with legal requirements, and otherwise accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, go to the website for our privacy policy at https://us.carreraworld.com/pages/privacy-policy, in order to get more details on our use of your personal information and opt out rights. By entering this Sweepstake, Entrant accepts and agrees to abide by all Sponsor policies and terms.

 

Subject to the applicable law and to Carrera privacy policy, each Entrant irrevocably grants the Sponsor and each of their affiliates, licensees, and its and their successors, assigns and sub-licensees the right and permission to use their Personal Information and any other personal attribute or identifier for advertising, promotional and/or publicity purposes, in all forms of media and by all manners (now and hereafter known), worldwide, in perpetuity, without any compensation, obligation, notice or consideration except for the awarding of the Prize to the Prizewinner.

 

All results of the selections are final and binding, subject to these Official Rules. In the event a winning entry is discovered to be invalid for any reason whatsoever or the person who submitted the winning entry fails to comply with these Official Rules prior to delivery of the prize, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS, AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

 

Prizewinner and Entrants agree and hold harmless the Sponsor, the Administrator, their respective parents, employees, officers, directors, subsidiaries, affiliates, sale representatives, agents, successors, assigns (collectively as the “Released Party”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or use or redemption of the prize, including but not limited to; (a) any technical errors that may prevent Entrant from submitting an entry (b) printing errors,  late, lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, faulty, or incorrect transmissions, incorrect announcements of any kind, technical hardware or software failures of any kind, that may limit a user’s ability to participate in the Sweepstake whether caused by computer, technical or human error, (c) injury, death, or damage to persons or property which may have be caused, directly or indirectly from Entrant’s participation in Sweepstake or receipt of prize. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

 

These Official Rules of the Sweepstake shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York.  Any dispute or controversy arising from these Official Rules and Prize of the Sweepstake shall be taken and/or settled with the appropriate New York State courts.

 

Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen points, tickets, vouchers, certificates, gift cards, or other forms of prize distributed.

 

Entrants hereby represent and confirm to have fully read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions of the Official Rules OF THE SWEEPSTAKE.
