Beautiful day in San Diego. Two artists. One close call.

Stop four of the Carrera Drive Your Story Tour set up at Fiesta del Sol — the free outdoor music and arts festival in Solana Beach, CA. Pacific in the background, music bumping from the main stage, and a steady crowd from open to close. San Diego didn’t just show up. It stayed.

Two of San Diego’s finest took the brush this round: @mrbbaby — Mr B Baby, LA & SD, “gettin paid to daydream” — and @muckrock — Jules Muck, prolific painter with a massive following and a “here to paint, gone tomorrow” ethos. 800+ people voted. The lead held thin all afternoon. By the final count, Mr B Baby took it 54–46 — one of the closest finishes on the tour so far.

Highsnobiety brought the cameras to Solana Beach, this time with San Diego creator Uwila "Uno" Simposya (@uwilaway) hosting the day. Founder of @aodwear and a fixture of the city's fashion scene, Uwila spent the day showing the brand around his San Diego — his favorite spots, his people — before landing at Fiesta del Sol, where @mrbbaby and @julesmuck were covering the '79 Corvette in their own colors. A local guide, a true co-sign, and the kind of SoCal energy you can't manufacture.
