Stop six of the Carrera Drive Your Story Tour rolled into the Manayunk Arts Festival — and not even a full day of rain could slow it down. From the first drops to the final crowd pass, festivalgoers kept showing up, weaving through the weather to discover artists, music, and competition. A talented artist from Brooklyn going brush-to-brush with a hometown favorite from Philadelphia. The skies may have stayed gray, but the energy never did. The crowd stayed engaged, the artists kept creating, and Manayunk proved that a little rain is no match for a city that shows up for art.
Driver’s side: @culturesclothing (Alloyius) — Philly-based, the Philly skyline reflected inside a giant pair of Carrera frames. Mosaic pattern in deep blues, purples, yellows, and greens — his Cultures Clothing aesthetic translated to the Corvette. Passenger side: @Jennamorello — Jenna Morello, Multi-disciplinary Brooklyn artist— stained-glass aesthetic in reds, oranges, deep blues, and blacks, with a central pair of Carrera shades. Built to be looked AT and INTO at the same time.
